Students, teachers, and directors of ISG established a new annual tradition. On May 8th, during our first official Portfolio Presentation Day, ISG students presented their projects, essays, tests, worksheets, drawings compiled into attractive ‘portfolios’. Preparation of a portfolio was not an easy job, but for ISG students it was as easy as ABC! Over the last few weeks students of all grades have been choosing their favourite worksheets and evaluating them. Finally, students , assisted by teachers, could show their amazing work to parents and other family members. By using a portfolio, ISG students have assumed the responsibility for learning but also learnt how to evaluate their own work and set goals for the future growth. Sunshine may have been in short supply, but the enthusiasm of the egg hunters seemed boundless at Wednesday's Easter egg hunts at International School of Gdansk. All the students tried their best to wait patiently for the Easter Bunny as they were reading, writing, counting and painting. Finally someone whispered: the Bunny is on his way... And the big Easter egg hunt had finally begun! Visit our gallery to see the photos.

On March 28th Grade 5 students visited the Main Town Hall History Museum in Gdansk. As they are all ancient history enthusiasts, students participated avidly in the workshop on Greek gods and goddesses. Our boys and girls had a chance to learn some interesting facts about those quarrelsome inhabitants of Mount Olympus, discover secret passages leading to the Main Town Hall, and finally, search for gods and goddesses hidden in spectacular paintings decorating The Red Chamber. Sadly, neither nectar nor ambrosia was served, but everybody enjoyed the trip all the same. Visit our gallery to see the photos.

Spring has definitely arrived at ISG. Last week Marzanna was sent up in flames, and parents came to enjoy our spring show. Now, visiting the classrooms, flowers, gardens, ladybirds, catepillars, and eggs abound. Check out the gallery to see the colorful classroom displays!

On March 28th, ISG’s First Grade students went on an exciting trip to the Main Town Hall History Museum in Gdansk . As future top world managers they really enjoyed learning about the history of money . After listening to the story about how people got things before money was invented, they saw how money has changed over time. At the end of the trip children made…. their own coins! Wow! Learning can be so much fun! Check the gallery for the photos.
